Aroma palette is floral and resinous. Highlights include black lilac, ylang ylang, night blooming jasmine, labdanum absolute, dark floral amber, and a hint of cognac.
This dark, witchy take on spring florals is a glimpse into the dark side of blooms. Rich dark, and resinous labdanum absolute dances with a stunning dark floral amber accord in the background while black lilac (the artists interpretation of a hypothetical night blooming lilac), ylang ylang, and night blooming jasmine billow above a secret garden on a spring evening. A touch of cognac adds a bewitching contrast on the dry down.
This fragrance settles into a beautifully enigmatic dark floral bouquet —the dark sister of traditionally bright spring florals.

This fragrance is absolutely stunning. It smells of such high quality and evokes a sense of mystery that envelopes you whenever you wear it. In the opening, you can smell a beautiful and distinctive wine note floating along a labdanum that to my nose smells like the most beautiful incense. The florals here to me are in the background, and add a floral sweetness to the whole composition. I cannot smell one specific floral over the other; it is more of a floral touch that adds dimension to the mysterious resinous scent. The allusion that it gives to me is being inside a gothic church, attending mass at night, and this church smells like incense but you can also smell the flowers in the distance, that are placed on a vase at the altar, or are wafting through the windows, and add a sweet melancholy to the smoky and resinous aroma of the incense. Beautiful stuff! Perhaps with time the florals will come forward more, as the oil macerates. But it is absolutely beautiful as it is now nevertheless. Gorgeous fragrance!
beautifully heady but still elegant. this is a bit more femme than i generally prefer, so not the perfect fragrance for me, but it's absolutely lovely and lasts all day.
It smells like all the rich bulb flowers that are the first to break through the still-frosty soil. Definitely rich in Lilac and jasmine, but never crosses into cloying. The faint boozy undertone gives you that warm feeling like when the first sips of a cocktail go to your head and feel dreamy and faintly sleepy. A great nighttime scent as well, as it is not as "delicate" of a floral as most spring scents has a very "velvety" kind of smell. Soft but thick.
On paper this sounded lovely. But on me and to my nose it unfortunately came across very soapy. Pros: extremely long lasting and dark scented. A pass for me, sadly.
