Aroma palette is a bright, earthy floral. Highlights include rain soaked earth, freshly bloomed lilacs, honeysuckle, and touch of hyacinth
A beautiful tribute to lilacs, this fragrance evokes visions of a serene garden filled with the scent of freshly bloomed lilacs and the refreshing aroma of rain-soaked earth. Here, the artist has captured the essence of a springtime garden filled with billowing lilacs after a rain shower.
The aroma palette is a harmonious blend of bright, spring florals, with highlights of freshly bloomed lilacs, sweet honeysuckle, and a touch of hyacinth. These florals are darkened ever so slightly by petrichor --the smell of damp earth after the rain.
Lilacs And Rain is the bottled experience of a peaceful walk through a garden filled with freshly bloomed lilacs with freshly fallen rain dancing on their petals.
This limited edition blend is presented in a 5ml amber apothecary bottle or 10ml rollerball bottle.
I bought this because I love Lilacs Along the Winding Drive by Alkemia and wanted to compare. Let’s just say they’re nothing alike and I love them both in such different ways. Lilacs and Rain has a lovely floral, calming floral scent that dries down heavy on the petrichor. I mix one drop in with my handful of lotion and it makes me smell so gorgeous and dreamy. My only complaint is I wish it lasted just a little longer but I think my skin may eat up scents quickly.
A beautiful, delicate spring fragrance. As much as I liked your original version of Lilac, this new one is much more layered and subtle, and much closer to the actual odor of lilacs on the branch. It also has staying power, which is a lot to say from someone like me, who can burn off a lot of perfumes in minutes. To find this kind of sturdiness in a floral blend is a real gift.
Lilacs and Rain is heavenly. It captures the beginning of spring perfectly -- it's the exact smell you experience when the weather has warmed up and you walk outside after rainy morning and inhale the scent of all of the spring flowers around you and you feel hopeful about what's ahead. I couldn't stop smelling my wrist for hours.
