Fractionated Coconut Oil, Parfum (Fragrance), Cistus Ladaniferus Extract, Commiphora Myrrha Oil, Limonene, Benzyl Benzoate, Eugenol, Linalool, Isoeugenol
Perfume oils do not unfold their complexity when experienced directly from the bottle. If you attempt to gauge the aroma of a perfume oil by smelling it from the bottle, your experience will not be accurate.
Apply first to your pulse points (the inner wrists, the base of the throat, behind ear lobes, and the inner elbows.) where it will warm with your body heat to unfold the fragrance.
Perfume oil, unlike alcohol-based perfumes, wears closer to the skin. It warms on your body, adapts to your body chemistry, and creates a halo of scent on the body. As it fades, perfume oil can be applied throughout the day as a personal aromatic ritual.

Aroma palette is earthy, resinous, and smoky. Highlights include holy water, juniper and cedar incense smoke, melted candle wax, aged myrrh resin, lilies, and deep aged labdanum.
Cathedral Noir, is a profoundly dark and smoky fragrance, evoking the haunting imagery of long-forgotten prayers resonating within the dim recesses of an ancient cathedral. Commencing with thick, dense swirls of juniper and cedar incense smoke, it reveals a fleeting echo of the metallic essence of holy water as it moves deeper on the dry down. Unveiling further layers, it exposes remnants of old melted candle wax, lilies, big bowls of aged myrrh resin, labdanum, and subtle wisps of fire.
This is an immersive, dark fragrance that feels akin to unlocking a vial of age-old shadows. It's a shadowy through the rich veils of smoky incense, mature resins, and the eerie yet comforting obscurity of sacred places long abandoned to time.
Artist's note: The blend opens with a very pronounced smokiness, akin to a genuine bonfire aroma. Allow it a few minutes to unfurl on the skin to fully appreciate its diverse shades and nuances.
Cathedral Noir is a fragrance composed of approximately 90% natural materials.
it’s very incense like with the smell of frankincense, smokey and kinda piney but I think that’s the juniper. In my honest opinion this is a scent u would wear if u want to smell like u have been somewhere(think church), it’s not a scent that would naturally be on someone, but personally I like it, the scent lasts a long time and once it starts to dry down it turns into a really pleasant earthy smell( think flowers, soil, faded smoke, and trees). Once it drys down its a scent that could possibly smell like someone naturally.
My boyfriend bought me the Invisible Church collection for my birthday. 10/10 highly recommend. I makes me think of every new age shop I've ever been in and every spell I've ever worked.
I was a little hesitant to get this scent after my first introduction to 'smokey' was Foilage Fire. That scent was heavy on the smoke and I really was surprised at how much I did not enjoy the oil as much as I thought I would. Please know, that is a lovely scent but more suited for someone else's skin chemistry than my own.
Reading the description of Cathedral Noir, I wanted to give the 'smokey' aroma another shot with a different scent as I have always been a fan of campfire smoke growing up (or really anything on fire like paper or incense). I am so glad I did. From the bottle at first sniff I felt like it was going to be the same experience as Foilage Fires, as soon as it went on the skin, the smoke softened to a tender blanket of actual juniper and cedar incense smoke, completely different from Foilage Fires. This reminded me of the old churches in a plaza of Mexico where the lit incense from the service inside the church would waft outside to mingle with the smell of leathered goods such as hand-painted leather bags, suede broken jackets, and newly made tanned leather woven shoes.
As the scent of juniper and cedar smoke lay as a base, I got stronger notes of leather coming through. Followed by a shy scent of the lilies making a subtle but strong appearance. In hand with the lilies, the scent of the resin-anointed candles was not as shy. The melted candle wax and resin were more forthcoming, mingling with the incense smoke giving more depth. I am able to pick out the different scents all at once if I focus and it is really a divine scent. I enjoy this much lighter smokey scent as it offers a shroud of mystery, and seduction but also a delicate plush tenderness. It's honestly a beautiful dance of femininity and masculinity. This is a scent that will prompt some curious questions and invoke beautiful compliments from others.

This one definitely reminds me of Undead or Seance with the lily/incense but it’s darker, much darker. Does not have much in common with Midnight Mass which is my holy grail church incense, at all. There is nothing comforting about this one, it’s quite unsettling.
