Turnaround Time 

Current turnaround time: Up to 10 business days. We are currently in our busiest season (August -December) and appreciate your patience. Inquiries about shipping status prior to elapsed turnaround time are subject to cancellation.

Canada Postal Strike

Shipping to Canada has been suspended as of 11/27 due to the ongoing Canadian postal strike. We have disabled the checkout option for Canada until service resumes. For orders in transit, we expect that these packages will continue on to their destination once the strike ends. As we have no control over the Canadian postal strike, we appreciate your patience. 

Policy Reminders

We are the perfume house of an individual artist who always aims to beat turnaround time, but the time listed is the maximum time it may take to prepare your order in light of demand and order volume. Often, your item will ship much sooner than the maximum processing time.

In order to allow the artist to continue to craft and process orders as expeditiously possible, we have the following policies:

  • Processing time is always posted at the top of the website. We are unable to answer emails asking when orders will ship or emails asking for status updates or ETA on orders. You will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number when your order ships. Some orders may ship sooner depending on the artists workflow. Her goal is always to beat the stated turnaround time. Please make sure our emails are not being caught in your spam folder. 
  • We are very transparent about turnaround times and include turnaround time updates in multiple areas of the site, including in the agreement checkbox that you must click before placing an order. Occasionally we will receive an email shortly after an order was placed demanding to know why it has not shipped yet. Please understand that we are an art studio of a single artist, not a corporation like Amazon that is able to turnaround product in five days or less. To keep things fair to all customers, inquiries about shipping status prior to turnaround time are subject to cancellation at the artists discretion.
  • All sales are final. Please double-check your cart carefully for accuracy before checking out. Because orders enter the artists workflow immediately, we are unable to change or cancel orders. We will not be able to respond to email requests asking us to combine, hold, cancel, add on to, or change orders unless you have made an error in your shipping address and need to make a correction. Because all sales are final and perfume is so subjective, we encourage you to try either dram sizes or sample sizes before committing to a full bottle. We are unable to respond to emails asking for returns or exchanges.
  • Packages marked delivered but not received: USPS sometimes experiences delays. If your package is not delivered or tracking shows it as stuck in transit, we have no way of obtaining further information. You must contact your local post office to inquire regarding the status of your package. Once a package is in the hands of USPS, we have absolutely no control over how USPS handles delivery. Please note that we cannot reimburse orders that were mishandled by the post office or stolen from a residence and you must file a claim with your local post office directly. We do not refund lost or stolen packages. Please file a police report if you believe a package was stolen from your residence. If your package was marked delivered but you did not receive it, please call your local post office. If you have had issues of packages not being delivered in the past, please contact us to arrange signature confirmation on your package. Please visit this page for all of the steps to take if your package was marked delivered but was not received.
  • If you have input your address incorrectly, you must contact us within 24 hours to notify us so that we can change it. Shipping labels are automatically printed with the address printed exactly as you provide it and we are not responsible for lost orders due to incorrect information provided to us. In the event a package is returned to us due to an error on your end, a re-shipping charge of $5 plus the cost of postage to ship again will apply. 
  • We will not be able to offer combined shipping on orders. If you place multiple orders, each will ship individually. We will not be able to respond to emails asking us to combine orders. Even if two orders are placed consecutively, there may be dozens of orders between them and our goal is to process orders as expeditiously as possible. Some orders may ship sooner than others depending on the artists workflow.

  • Please note that USPS can sometimes take up to 72 hours to show movement on a shipped package.
  • Signature confirmation is required for orders totaling $300 and above, and we include it complimentarily. If your order is above $300, please be aware that you must sign for it and we are not responsible for undeliverable packages due to a lack of signature.   • While the artist appreciates reviews of her work, she does not work with influencers or offer her artwork for free in exchange for reviews. We are unable to answer emails asking about collaborations with influencers.
  • Amorphous perfume does not endorse any third party sellers and is not responsible for fragrances not purchased directly from the artist. Amorphousperfume.com and our Etsy shop is the only place where fragrances can be purchased directly from the artist. We cannot guarantee the quality or authenticity of works purchased from third party sellers or decanters.
  • For international customers, since we don't know the import restrictions in your country, please be aware of your import restrictions and fees before ordering. All duties, taxes, brokerage fees, shipping fees or any additional expenses are the responsibility of the purchaser. It is your reponsibility to know the customs fees in your country before placing an order. If a package gets returned to us because you did not pay the customs fee, we will not issue a refund. 

  • We do not ship to many countries due to cosmetics or shipping regulations. Using a package forwarding service to forward packages to countries we don’t ship to is prohibited and we are not responsible for packages procured from us in this way. We are not responsible for shipments lost or rejected due to use of package forwarding services that attempt to circumvent our inability to ship to countries with shipping or cosmetics regulations.

Preorders

Due to order volume, we have implemented a preorder option for most new fragrance launches. Placing a preorder is the way to reserve a fragrance before it appears in the general launch. Pre-orders must be purchased individually or together with other seasonal pre-order items. If permanent collection items are ordered together with seasonal pre-order items, your order will be automatically canceled. If there is a fragrance from a new collection that you would like to reserve, we highly recommend placing a preorder, since we cannot guarantee how long fragrances will be available in the general launch.

    Additional questions:

    • Out of stock items from the permanent collection are always restocked as time allows. The best way to be alerted to restocks is to join our mailing list or follow us on Instagram.

    • We cannot ship Eau de Parfum overseas or to Hawaii due to customs regulations and alcohol content.

    • Eau de Parfum orders of above 30ml must ship ground. Depending on how many EDPs you order, occasionally the shipping may show as First Class or Priority Mail. Please note that this is to save you on shipping costs but the package itself will ship ground. 

    • Always conduct an allergy patch test before committing to a full perfume application. If you have specific known allergies, please contact us before purchase. Notes are not ingredients, and we are happy to crosscheck ingredients if you have allergy concerns.
