Artists note: I adopted my first Sphynx 25 years ago when I was living in San Francisco. He lived to be an amazing old man of 15 and he not only changed my life, but saved it in many ways. I have been a proud guardian of these special cats for many years and currently have three Sphynx children (two Canadian Sphynxes and a Donskoy). Because they are so unique, they sadly too often fall into the wrong hands either through greed or through ignorance of the amount of special care these cats require.
